1. Overview
Utulivu is a wellbeing and recovery-support platform with account features, therapist and rehabilitation centre discovery, bookings, community discussions, mood and progress tracking, and an AI companion. This policy explains the types of information these features may process. It should be read together with our Terms of Use.
2. Information you provide
- Account and profile details, including your name, phone number, optional email address and account role.
- Information included in booking and admission requests, such as contact details, preferred dates and notes.
- Community posts, replies, support-group activity and information you choose to share with other members.
- Mood and progress entries, support messages and enquiries where you choose to use those features.
3. Your private journal
The current Android journal is designed to store entries encrypted on your device. Journal entries are not intended to be posted to the community or sent to Utulivu's servers by the journal feature. Loss of your device or app data may make local entries unavailable. Other features, such as progress logs or AI chats, can follow different storage and processing paths.
4. How information is used
Information may be used to create and secure accounts, display your profile, facilitate booking and admission requests, operate community functions, respond to support requests, maintain platform safety, and troubleshoot or improve service reliability. Where AI features are used, messages submitted to the AI service are processed to generate replies.
5. Who may receive information
Information you submit for a therapist booking or rehabilitation enquiry may be made available to the provider or staff handling the request. Content you post in community spaces may be visible to other members according to the feature's access rules. Service providers used to host or operate the platform, including an AI-processing provider where applicable, may process information needed to deliver their services.
6. Phone numbers and optional email
Phone numbers are used as the Android account sign-in identifier. Email is optional for account registration and is not used as an Android login identifier. Email supplied for bookings, newsletters or contact forms may be used for that specific communication purpose.
7. Security and retention
Utulivu uses measures intended to protect access to account information and app data. No online service can guarantee absolute security. How long records are retained may depend on the feature, operational needs and applicable requirements. You can contact Utulivu about access, correction or deletion requests; some information may need to be retained where required by law or to protect the service.
8. Your choices
You can choose what optional profile information to provide, what to post in community spaces, and whether to use AI or journaling features. Avoid posting sensitive details in public or group discussions. For questions about your information or a rights request, use the Contact page.
9. Children, updates and contact
Age eligibility and any required parental consent must be assessed before the service is offered to minors. We may update this policy as features or operating practices change. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Contact us using the website contact form for privacy enquiries.
